I'm the CEO of PDC Pharma Strategy. I've spent the last 30-plus years of experience applying the science of quality management and overseeing quality assurance and regulatory compliance in the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry. I have degrees in biology (BS) and quality systems engineering (MS).
I'm a professional speaker and corporate trainer. I cover a variety of topics, all related to improving quality. I'm passionate about sharing my expertise in quality management while also inspiring and motivating individuals, teams, and organizations. My key audiences are in the biopharmaceutical, healthcare, and mental health support industries. More information is coming soon.
I'm combining my 30+ year career applying the science of quality management in the biopharmaceutical industry with my equally long recovery from childhood trauma to share information that can help others. In August of 2023, I launched my LinkedIn Newsletter, Here's What Helps.
I'm the author of six books, including four novels and two nonfiction works. I write print and online articles about how the science of quality management can be applied within the pharmaceutical industry, and within the lives of individuals. I'm a frequent industry expert contributor to the premier pharmaceutical industry publications, Clinical Leader and Life Science Leader.
I'm the founder of Przekop Design Company, LLC, the parent company of PDC Pharma Strategy and PDC Creative. I'm the CEO of Bra in a Box, LLC, a company I founded with my daughter, Phoebe Horak to market a patent pending product I envisioned, and we developed together. It's been quite the journey! We're now offering all of our products here (link below), on other online marketplaces, and in various US boutiques. Watch us grow!
My paintings focus on the complexity of women. They have been shown by galleries and purchased by collectors around the world. My art has also been acquired by two museums in Italy. You can see and purchase many of my paintings as well as prints and other products featuring my art here (link below). Eventually, all my available original paintings will be available in the shop.
In 2018, I established the John & Penelope Hall Defining Courage Award (aka The Be Courageous Award) several years after losing my brother to suicide. The purpose of the program is to inspire students and the broader community to focus on courage.
I'm committed to living a courageous life. I feel called to speak and write about how the quality management concepts I embraced in my career impacted my 30-plus year recovery from the traumatic childhood my brother and I shared. I'm dedicated to sharing what I know can help, even if in my own small way.
